Fun with Simple Machines
[460.36-10617] Grades: 1-3 Apr 16, 2018 - May 21, 2018 (MONDAYS) 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21 2:25 pm - 3:45 pm Room: 19 (6 sessions, each 1 hour and 20 minutes long.) Students will learn about engineering concepts, simple machines (levers, axles, gears, pulleys, and more), problem solving, the scientific method, and engineering careers. They will build a variety of models incorporating simple machines, including a vehicle and a windmill, and then test their models.
