Design and Create a 2D "Mario-style" Side-Scrolling Game in Unity and C# [554-10592]

(10 sessions, each 11½ hours long.)

Learn how to design and create a 2D “Mario-style” platformer (side-scrolling game) using the most widely-used professional game design software in the world, Unity. While learning the C# programming language, students will learn how to create levels, develop scenery, animate characters, handle respawning, incorporate sound, and much more. This is an excellent class to prepare students to take our virtual reality game design course that will be offered in winter/spring of 2018.

Note: The cost of the class is $250, but St. Francis is offering each registered middle school student a $180 scholarship to participate.
