How to Enroll in Our Courses

Our Offerings: We offer our courses in Santa Cruz County, Santa Clara County and Monterey County. We have links to these offerings on our home page.

We have designed a wide variety of courses and offer them on an ongoing basis. We are always developing new courses, too. If you'd like to look at a more comprehensive list of our offerings, please view our Course Descriptions page. If there are specific courses you'd like us to schedule, please send us an e-mail and let us know. We will try our best to accommodate you.

Duration: Learn to Discover offers three different types of courses and activities: Classes, Camps, and Robotics Challenges.

Class Fees: Learn to Discover is a nonprofit organization, and we pride ourselves in trying to keep the fees for these high-quality courses as low as possible. This usually works out to be about $16/hour. Please review the fee information for each class of interest. Rarely, we charge an additional materials fee.

The Registration Process: Our registration process is divided into 2 parts: Sign-Up and Payment.

  1. To Sign Up: Visit our home page to see our current offerings. Review the sites at which we offer classes, then click the Register Now link. On the following page, click on the Enroll button and follow the instructions to enroll one or more students for one or more classes. When you have completed selecting the students and classes, proceed through the registration screens by entering your contact information, etc. After you have completed the Sign-Up portion of the Registration Process, you will be given a Registration ID and an online receipt, which will also be separately e-mailed to you. At this point, you will choose your method of Payment (this is the second part of the Registration Process).

  2. To Pay During the Online Registration Process:
    • Once you have completed the Sign-Up process, you may pay online. To do so, click on the Submit button. This will take you to a page where you can either:
      • If you have a PayPal account: Login to your PayPal account and approve the payment.
      • If you don't have a PayPal account: Enter a one-time credit card payment without having to join PayPal, and approve the payment. You may pay with Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover.
  3. To Pay At at Later Time:
    • If you did not pay during the order process and later wish to send us a payment, you have several choices:
      • Pay Online: Just login to your PayPal account, and send your payment to payments@learntodiscover.org. Please reference the Registration ID of the classes for which you are paying.
      • By Mail: Send your check to the following address, and reference the Registration ID of the classes for which you are paying:

      • By Phone: Call us with your credit card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
      • By Having Your Child Bring a Check to the First Day of Class: As a last resort, please have your student bring a check to the first day of class.

Cancellations: When enrollment is low, we reserve the right to cancel a class. You’ll receive a full refund.

Returned check: A $25 fee will be charged for each returned check.

Wait Lists: If a class is filled, you have the option of being placed on a wait list.

Refunds: We have a No Refund policy. Please contact us if you feel you have extenuating circumstances, and we may be able to work something out.
